Business Finland is the Finnish government organisation for trade, foreign direct investment and innovation. Its 600 experts work in 40 offices globally and in 16 regional offices around Finland.
At UK Cleantech Bootcamp 2021, Global Tech Connect worked with a cohort of 18 international cleantech companies for four weeks, helping them with their green growth and sustainability solutions.
Bringing together companies from different sectors – energy, circular economy, smart cities and agritech – and six GTC member countries, the Bootcamp sessions covered:
Understanding the UK Market – business culture, company formation, taxation, regulation
Fundraising journey – approaching investors, pitch decks, legal basics
Growth strategy – product market fit, value proposition, validation
Cleantech – UK sector knowledge and network, business partnerships, customer acquisition.
